SHARCO was the original maker of football mini helmets back in the very early 90s. They created face masks with metal and defensive lineman style. They first included a wooden base with each helmet and then without a base like this helmet and box. When riddle bought them out, they shifted to a plastic face mask within a couple years, so these original SHARCO helmets are quite rare.
