DESCRIPTION: 

Antique German Catholic prayer book with the prayers printed in what I believe is Kurrentschrift. Printed in Dresden by Wilhelm Reuter. No publication date shown. Burgundy cloth covers with gold lettering. Decorative endpapers. 189 pages plus an index. Measures 3 1/8" x 4 1/4". 

The prayer book was found with a lovely, antique "In Memory Of" booklet printed by Franz Schemm in Nurnberg. It measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" and has an embossed and die cut front cover. The name Anna Harig, Chicago is written inside the front cover - perhaps this was from a Memorial Service for her?
