Vintage Delco Appliance Model 1700 Art Deco electric fan featuring a 16-inch blade, approximately 22-inch overall height, and weighing about 20 pounds. This is a substantial pre-war fan with its original Delco badge, steel wire cage, and classic Art Deco styling. 7 foot cord.

Dated from late 1930s-early 1940s

Fan has been tested and operates on all three speed settings and spins smooth.

Oscillation mechanism engages and all visible gears are present and functioning. Oscillation motion is not perfectly smooth throughout the entire sweep and hesitates/sticks, likely benefiting from additional adjustment, cleaning, and lubrication by the next owner. Fan is being sold in its current operating condition.

Cosmetically, the fan retains an attractive vintage appearance with age-appropriate wear, paint loss, scratches, and patina consistent with decades of use. The fan has not been restored, making it an excellent candidate for collectors who prefer original examples.
