Description
Introduced in 1952, the Canon 50mm f/1.5 is a historically significant lens that helped establish the reputation of Japanese optics among photographers around the world.
Its classic Sonnar-type 7-element design delivers beautiful vintage character at f/1.5 with smooth highlight rendering and a distinctive atmospheric look. Stopped down, it offers impressive sharpness and contrast, while the 13-blade diaphragm produces exceptionally smooth and natural background blur.
This lens has been fully tested and confirmed to operate properly, ready to be enjoyed by collectors, film photographers, and mirrorless camera users alike.
