St Bernards FC: Was a football club based in Edinburgh, Scotland which was established in 1878 & was a member of the Scottish Football League. Their biggest success was winning the Scottish Cup in 1894 - 95.
The club tended to struggle against Hearts & Hibs and had a much smaller following in Edinburgh than there two big rivals and as a consequence spent quite a few seasons in the Second Division. The club played its last game on 16th May 1942 and it was mothballed until the end of the war. Despite attempts to resurrect the club after the war this never happened.
Summary: As can be seen from the photos this is an attractive & interesting Scottish football medal from a now long-defunct club which one had the honour of winning the Scottish Cup. Good luck!
