Obtained car in 2022. Some bodywork welded to an extremely high standard, now extremely sound. Since owning it major work has included new cam belt, water pump, head gasket, clutch. New alternator, power steering pump alloy wheels, plus spare set of 4 and standard wheels(4) with new tyres. Regular fluid changes, new battery, new brakes front and rear, new heater matrix, new radiator. One MOT advisory small oil leak. Anyone who knows the type will understand the comfort, economy and practicality of the vehicle. Has been my daily driver and recently completed a 600 mile round trip with 50+ mpg. Loads of spares too numerous to mention. An enthusiast could bring the car to concourse state. Now becoming very rare, I think about 35 only still on the road. Price reflects condition it is definitely not a 31 year old banger- but you have to want the vehicle. I searched for 6 months prior to purchase. I have spent upwards of £4k but of course that was for me as any car refurbishment will rarely recoup the outlay involved. It is a very honest car and I shall be sorry to see it go.
