Up for sale is a beautiful and highly collectible piece of 1920s Austrian ephemera. This 1925 Fromme's Wiener Porte-monnaie Kalender (Vienna Wallet Calendar) is an incredibly charming miniature pocket almanac published by Carl Fromme in Vienna, Austria.

The standout feature of this piece is its original textured brown leather cover, adorned with a detailed, raised brass emblem of a vintage skier holding a single long ski pole. It is a fantastic cross-collectible item, perfect for enthusiasts of antique skiing memorabilia, unique pocket calendars, or rare Austrian printing history. Size: Extremely compact, pocket-sized miniature. Measures approximately 1.5” x 2”

Interior: Features beautifully printed typography on the title page in black and red ink. The calendar pages list days, dates, and traditional saint days/holidays for each month.

Condition Notes:

The leather cover shows an authentic aged patina with some historic staining/darkening along the bottom edge, adding to its vintage character.

The brass skier emblem has a wonderful aged look with mild, natural oxidation.

Writing: The calendar has been gently used historically, with minimal handwritten pencil/ink notations on a few select pages—specifically on the July ("Juli") calendar spreads.

The binding remains intact, and the pages have a gentle, natural age-toning but remain completely legible and crisp.
