The Thomas Edison Home Phonograph is one of the most iconic and historically significant sound reproduction machines ever built. Introduced by the National Phonograph Company (Edison’s company) in late 1895/early 1896, the "Home" model was designed to bridge the gap between expensive commercial machines and cheap, entry-level models like the Edison Gem.

The Home Phonograph went through several design variations (Models A through F) between 1896 and 1913:

  • Model A (1896–1905): The earliest versions feature a "suitcase" style oak cabinet with brass clips securing the lid. Early versions included a built-in mechanical shaving attachment so users could erase and re-record their own wax cylinders. By 1901, the case evolved into the famous "New Style" cabinet with a rounded dome lid and a distinct "Edison Home Phonograph" banner decal on the front.

The Phonograph will be packaged very well and be fully insured.
