This is a low-noise preamplifier for the 144 MHz / 2 m band.
It is built using very high-quality components (Hi-Q capacitors, branded connectors, and others).
It is mounted in an aluminum enclosure manufactured on a CNC machine.

The MMIC -PGA103+(Monolithic Microwave IC, manufactured by Mini-Circuits) is a modern low-noise component that provides high performance on VHF/UHF frequencies.

The power supply is 12–15VDC, either via a dedicated cable or through the coaxial cable using a BIAS TEE (not supplied with the VLNA). The preamplifier noise figure is 0.55dB, with a gain of 18dB. You can reduce the gain yourself if desired. Inside, there is a miniature trimmer resistor that allows you to do this, or you can send us an email and specify exactly what gain you want, and we will adjust it for you. Unwanted products are suppressed as follows: 50MHz – 60dB, 100MHz – 40dB, 432MHz – 27dB.
