Yoko Ono – “PEACE is POWER” Pencil Set

Set of five graphite pencils produced by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) Design Store, New York, in conjunction with Yoko Ono’s commissioned installation PEACE is POWER (2019). Issued as part of a limited retail collection celebrating MoMA’s reopening in October 2019, the pencils feature Ono’s signature peace-driven directives: “Think Peace,” “Act Peace,” “Spread Peace,” “Imagine Peace,” and “Peace is Power.”

Each pencil is finished in a blue gradient design and housed in the original presentation box. The set reflects Ono’s longstanding conceptual practice of participatory and message-based art rooted in activism, language, and social engagement.
