SINGLE VAMP

This popular moccasin was designed for those who want an extremely lightweight, all-purpose boot. For upland hunting, the Bird Shooter is actually as "light as a feather" and as quiet as stalking Indian. Being a true Russell Moccasin, comfort speaks for itself. Uppers are made of waterproof chrome leather; hands have lightweight leather midsoles; nonslip Gro Cord rubber soles and heels. Ground soles are being discontinued (see pg. 27 for Black 430). Vibram soles and heels. Height 6 inches. Uppers are hand-lasted and hand-sewn toe seams; no counters.

DOUBLE VAMP

This boot is the same as the regular S-3180-GC Bird Shooter, except it is built with a double vamp, making it as waterproof as moccasin leather can be. All needle holes are sealed. If you expect to hunt under very wet conditions, you will find the extra waterproof protection of the double vamp construction a very worthwhile investment.
