Beautiful, 1940's antique French crystal and genuine silver plated oil and vinegar cruet set. This timeless French treasure features sparkly, molded crystal with faceted tear drop stopper on each piece. The coordinating oval shaped, silver plated stand is embellished with a round, studded silver motif along the border.
The bottom of the stand is engraved METAL ARGENTE with various makers marks and hallmarks of the French company that produced it. The number 10 can be seen, which denotes the silver stand is composed of 10% genuine silver. Both the crystal cruets and the silver plated stand are heavy and substantial in weight at 2 lbs and 8 oz.
An elegant set that is both practical and aesthetically stunning. A lovely compliment to any well dressed table. The stand measures 9.5" x 8". Each crystal cruet measures 7" x 3".
In very good condition. The interior of the cruets are immaculate. There is a small hairline scratch/ ding on the side of one of the tear drop toppers. My camera can't even capture it.
