Antique Milliners Bronze Hat Shop Display Stand made by V N Siegel of 19 Rue Reaumur, Paris, France. Made circa 1910-1920

It measures 44cm tall and can be extended a further 16cm to stand 60cm high. The base and main stem seem to be bronze and the very top part which holds the hat is some kind of metal alloy as it is rusted on the underside. There's 14cm between each of the three feet.

The base is weighted with lead so that it won't fall over when holding a heavy hat. The lead also has an imprint of Siegel's name and address.

In very good antique condition. Unpolished and with verdigris to the base.
