A vintage Salins Studio Art Deco Large Cup and Saucer by Pierre Casenove. Made in Salins-les-Bains, France. 
White & in perfect vintage condition, no chips or cracks. 
Saucer is 7" across and cup is 6.25 wide by 3" deep approx. 

Salins Studio France refers to the modern 20th-century output of the historic Salins-les-Bains earthenware factory. Established in 1857 it specialized in bold, postmodern Memphis and Art Deco designs during the 1980s. 
The studio became highly regarded for its collaboration with designer Pierre Casenove. These pieces are known for their architectural, sculptural shapes, including art deco revival pyramid-style teapots and bold, monochromatic glazes.
Many Salins Studio pieces from the late 20th century mimic "skyscraper" silhouettes and geometric forms typical of the Art Deco era.
