Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian Glass Dachshund Dog Sculpture, made on the Island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. 

Made in a stunning combination of Red Glass encased in Clear Glass, using the renowned Venetian "Sommerso" technique.

Hand Made from molten Glass by a Skilled Craftsman, possibly Archimede Seguso?

He measures approx. 26cm long x 11cm high x 6cm wide

He is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, please see pictures.
