Gorgeous, Vintage, Mon Cheri Wedding Gown with details including a basque waist and a scalloped vee neckline. A closer look reveals more unique details. Just enough blush colored beading on the bodice to lure the eye, as well as the use of a subtly contrasting beige fabric to define the banding and rosettes on the sleeves. But it doesn't end there. Twirling around to the back, the two toned banding frames the deep vee of the back and continues down to form a contrast layer. Stunning with the train let out or bustled. An eagled shopper has informed me that the contrast color is actually called “rum pink”.

This dress is in beautiful condition except for a few loose strings and beads. There is a small pull mark on the front that is barely noticeable. (almost looks like a small pin was pushed through the fabric.) Pulls can often be lessened or removed by manipulating fabric. See photo

At the bottom on the front there is a faint mark as shown in photo. I am unable to determine if this is a dirt line (the rest of the dress is very clean) or a crease of some sort. It disappears in the folds when the dress is worn. The loop for the eye hook at the top of the zipper on the back needs replacing. There are two loose threads on the back, at the base of the zipper. I can only assume there was once some ornamentation that was removed.

The waist measures approximately 25.5".The chest measures approximately 32.5"There is a generous 2 inch side seam on each side of the bodice. The skirt falls approximately 41" from actual waist to floor in the front.
