This kit is the same mount I have on my personal 4.1 roller and it works fine. I've tried the poly mounts and it drove me crazy. The rear view mirror ''buzzed'' and the car felt and sounded like I had bad wheel bearings. Even with brand new Timken bearings the sound didn't go away until I went back to rubber mounts..

These work great with a torque strap because the strap won't be forced to do all the work like with a broken motor mount.

If you look at the pictures there's a hook between the two solid pieces. That is there in case the mount fails, it will keep the engine somewhat in place when the rubber breaks completely loose. That's great for keeping the engine from flipping over but it drives the knock sensor crazy when it hits.  A broken DS mount is one of the leading causes of false knock retard. Metal to metal under the hood is a great recipe for slowing down!
