The Remsen Avenue Route (B-17) was a critical connector for the residential hubs of East Flatbush. Issued at the start of 1938, this ticket captures the BMT system at its absolute peak of private bus coordination. It represents a primary source document for the era when the Brooklyn Bus Corporation provided essential links to major hubs like the Brighton Line Station and Flatbush Avenue before the system-wide 1940 city takeover.
