This type of poster would have been posted to record shops throughout the UK promoting new record releases or artistes. They were not available to the general public and very few survive.

This one dates from October 1957 and was never hung. It is in good condition for its age, but with signs of storage in the form of some minor edge tears and handling creases. I've tried to show this in the photos but these faults will hardly show when framed. It was folded three times when posted to the record dealer back in 1957 and the same folds will be used when posting this time when sold.
