Collected during the late 19th-century Grand Tour of a prominent Victorian gentleman from Wiltshire, this group of ancient artefacts represents a carefully curated assemblage acquired through reputable antiquarian sources of the period. Retained within the same family for generations and housed in their country residence for well over a century, the pieces have remained largely unseen since their original acquisition. Recently released from long-term private ownership, they now appear on the market for the first time, offering a rare opportunity to acquire items of distinguished historical provenance.
