Note that "half-moon marks" near the security thread or watermark at the edge of the paper are quite a common occurrence on paper banknotes from different countries, including UK, Scotland etc, though not always present.

This occurs during production and is not "post-production damage" etc. and thus is considered as UNC and would also grade as such if sent off to a grading company.

The photos are stock photos only and do not show the actual banknote that you will receive. Unless specified, the serial number, prefix, date and/or signature of the banknote may be different depending on which variant is available in stock at the time.

Postage costs increase if letter size exceeds 5mm (1/5") in thickness and/or 100g (3.5oz) in weight. Buyer will be charged according to basket value and which postage option is necessary.

*Standard mail (proof of postage receipt only - no tracking!) will only be available to customers in the UK, US, Canada, EU, Singapore and Australia. If you want tracking you need to select this option in the basket page. Orders above £20-22 will only be sent with tracking.

**Lower value tracked letters up to £50 in sale value can be sent as ?documents? by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed ? such letters will not have a customs sticker on the envelope, only the printed postage paid label.

International letters up to the £100 and £250 categories will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked as this is the only service that offers compensation in case of loss. It is no longer possible to send marked as ?documents?. Letters will be marked under the ?other? category with a description of ?printed papers? and a stated value of £0 unless the buyer requests something different.

*^The maximum compensation value per international letter in case of loss is just £250. If your order greatly exceeds this value it will be necessary to split the contents across more than one letter. The buyer will be charged as necessary.

International letters can occasionally be held by local customs offices for inspection or fees to be paid. Anything they decide to do is at their own discretion and out of my control so I cannot accept responsibility for this. If you decide to have a letter returned postage charges will not be refunded.
