Up for auction Vintage Diecast Marklin RE 800 Swiss Electric Locomotive with original box and inspection tag. I have owned this for 15-20 years, it's been on display in our collection: never used on a layout. I am the third owner of this locomotive, I bought it from a collector who acquired it in 1968, and he never ran it. There is no evidence that I see the locomotive was run by its original owner, pick-ups do not show wear and very good paint. I tested the locomotive for the first time today for this auction, it works perfectly with operating lights. Original box includes all original packing (glassine and cardboard wrap) plus original manual. I paid exactly what it is being offered for in this auction. Thanks for looking.
