Mr. Tsukikage draws pictures first on paper with ink.Then he copies, enlarged, shrunk, and cut, paste, then modified, retouched with ink and white to make the original manuscripts. Though the pages sometimes have copied and pasted panels/characters, then the item itself becomes something like hand-crafted arts.

Please note that not all the panels are created with copied characters.

Mr. Ken TSUKIKAGE was born in Nagasaki in 1941.

He has drawn many period-drama stories with samurai worriers, kimono women in Edo period(1603-1867).

His beautiful Ukiyoye-like drawings are well accepted in the market.

Enjoy his precise drawings and colorings. His pictures faithfully recreate the customs of Edo period. 

 

The story setting is the Edo period, an era dominated by samurai warriors.
