This disc drive is a direct replacement for the original "fat" Sony PlayStation 3 models CECH-A01/B01/E01/G01. Disc drive has been fully tested, as well as thoroughly cleaned and all moving parts were greased to ensure proper function upon arrival. Please note that the PCB will NOT be included, you will have to install your consoles disc drive logic board PCB into the new drive because each logic board is married to the console it came with and will not work with a different consoles logic board.
