Instructions and Best Results:

For best results use 70 % IsoPropyl Alcohol to clean the area first. 

Try to get as much of the diseased rubber off, it's fine if i looks hollow afterwards, the new cover will go over it.

Once all the sticky rubber is gone, and you make you way to the hard rubber beneath, spray and treat the area again with IsoPropyl Alcohol. We want to make sure the infected rubber disease is gone. 

You need to remove the goo sticky rubber, because this is an infection within the rubber, leaving it there can make it penetrate further down into the rubber. You need to get to the hard part of the rubber. 70 % IsoPropyl Alcohol will kill the disease.

After a good clean and once you reached the hard rubber, you can then snap in your new covers over the area.
