PLEASEE SEE ALL THE IMAGES AND READ ALL THE INFORMATION

Original vintage photograph dated 1 May 1942 (Shōwa 17) from the World War II period.

The image shows a formal Japanese “Founding Anniversary Ceremony” (創立記念式典) with military and civilian officials. A large banner clearly displays the date and event, and accompanying text references a North China (北支) unit, placing this within the context of the Japanese occupation of China during WWII.

A highly interesting historical piece featuring:

Uniformed personnel and officials

Period 1930s–40s vehicle

Traditional-style institutional building

Ceremony flag and banner
