Offered is a beautiful set of four (4) antique silver-tone nautical buttons featuring a classic foul anchor design. These are high-quality "pierced" or cut-out style buttons where the anchor and rope motif are integrated into a solid circular frame with an open-work background.

• Design: Traditional foul anchor (anchor entwined with rope) in a detailed relief.

• Construction: Pierced/open-back silhouette with a sturdy loop shank.

• Dimensions: Approximately 25mm in diameter (standard coat size).

• Material: Silver-tone plating over a brass/copper-base alloy. Note the authentic greenish oxidation on the shanks, consistent with age.

Condition:

These buttons are in excellent antique condition with a natural aged patina. There is some minor wear to the silver plating on the high points, revealing the warmth of the metal underneath—a hallmark of genuine period pieces.
