For your consideration is an original 1925 United States Lawn Tennis Association (USLTA) championship medal, awarded for the Spokane Tennis Center Championship in Boys Doubles. This piece is a fantastic relic of Pacific Northwest sports history from the "Golden Age" of American tennis.

Design & Detail:

• Obverse: Features the classic USLTA eagle and shield crest over crossed racquets, set against a radiant sunburst and flanked by laurel and oak sprays.

• Reverse: Expertly engraved: "SPOKANE TENNIS CENTER CHAMPIONSHIP - BOYS DOUBLES - GEORGE PORRITT - 1925". The engraving retains much of its original gold-toned infill.

• Ribbon: The original olive green silk grosgrain ribbon is present, featuring a distinctive white, navy, and red central stripe.

• Mounting: Includes the original pin-back bar on the reverse of the ribbon for display or wear.

Condition:

The medallion remains in excellent vintage condition with a deep, even chocolate-brown patina. No major dings or scratches to the rim or faces. The ribbon shows expected light age-toning and very minor fraying at the top edges where it meets the pin bar (see photos), but remains structurally sound and vibrant.
