Japanese woodblock print after Utagawa Hiroshige, titled Evening Rain at Azuma-no-Mori (吾嬬杜夜雨), depicting two figures with umbrellas walking through a rainstorm beside a river with a distant torii gate. Based on Hiroshige’s celebrated composition from the Eight Views in the Environs of Edo theme. This is a later Japanese woodblock reprint, likely early–mid 20th century, printed on paper in the traditional manner. Image shows good color and strong visual impact. An attractive example for collectors of Japanese landscape prints and Hiroshige imagery.
