Seller has engineered these out of a substantially stronger, durable plastic than the original material and is designed to withstand both vibration and the constant heat cycles around the engine bay.  

Please note: These plastic pieces are machined by hand and so there may be some machining marks and/or signs of handling from the manufacturing process even though they are new and unused.

Installation is relatively straight forward with the only special tool being required is an electric terminal crimper capable of making a strong crimp (not just a regular pair of pliers).   Either the buyer or buyer's mechanic will be required to cut the wound stainless steel cable towards the very end (cut at the very end of the cable, leaving only about 1 cm of the stainless steel cable end exposed, then slide the repair pieces on (as well as any other components or small fittings such as the rubber boot, if applicable), and then crimp the cable back together.  Buyer should verify the crimp is strong before returning the cable back to service.  Alternatively, the cable end can also be soldered back on if the buyer has the skill to do so.
