Fully tested and in great working condition. A legendary JDM unit featuring a vacuum tube preamp for a warm, rich analog sound.

Condition

Faceplate: Exceptionally rare condition. Finding a CQ-TX5500D with a faceplate this pristine is extremely difficult. It is spotless, free from any scratches, marks, or fading, and maintains a showroom-quality appearance.

Body: Minor surface scratches on the chassis, typical from previous installation and removal. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect functionality.
Functionality: 100% operational. CD playback is perfect. All buttons, the volume knob, and all illumination bulbs work perfectly with no blown bulbs.

The FM tuner is set to Japanese frequencies (76-90MHz). To receive local FM radio outside of Japan, a frequency converter (band expander) may be required.
