The TURBOSOUND TCS-C50T is a high quality passive 240 Watt two way full range ceiling loudspeaker consisting of a high excursion 5” low frequency driver with high temperature voice coil and a 1” ferrofluid cooled neodymium soft dome tweeter, matched with an internal passive crossover network, in an easy-mount paintable ABS ceiling frame with a perforated mesh grille.
The TCS-C50T has a usable frequency range of 75 Hz to 22 kHz and features a wide, conical 180° dispersion pattern suitable for all high quality background music and speech applications. The front baffle incorporates an integral tuned port to optimise the low frequency performance of the loudspeaker, and the low distortion high frequency waveguide is designed to increase output and ensure even dispersion. The TCS-C50T is supplied as standard with an internal line transformer for use on all 70 Volt and 100 Volt line distributed systems, offering multiple power taps plus a 16 Ohm low impedance setting which can be selected via an easily accessible rotary switch located on the front baffle behind the speaker grille. A four pole Phoenix* connector with steel cover and strain relief provides connection to the speaker and accepts fire rated cable.
The TCS-C50T conforms to BS5839 fire prevention standards as well as UL2043 for North America, and IEC/EN60849.
