This awesome horsehair sculpture measures almost 17 inches tall.

It looks like an eagle with his wings spread.

There is a carving of the hillside pueblos on his back and lower wing

The windows and doors of the cliff-side dwellings are cut through to the inside

I think it was meant to be a lamp,

There is an uncut circular hole on the back near the bottom

 it would look even more amazing when lit from inside

Absolutely perfect with no chips or cracks.

The horsehair has made a striking design on it,

the carving is very detailed, showing the ladders and texture of the rock they were made into.

It's 8 inches wide from his tail to his beak.

he's roughly 5 inches from front to back
