Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Thus. 120pp. The letters collected in this volume originally appeared in the Louisville Daily Courier. Bound in original dark brown cloth, with gilt lettering that remains largely bright on front cover. Volume admits to a number of minor bumps, short tears, and small worn through areas on cloth, though none of this is terribly offensive. The first approximately 10 leaves admit to heavy discoloration on approximately 1/3 of the lower portion of each page and to the areas closest to outside margins. Approximately another 30 pages admit to the same discoloration, though to much less of each pages. The upper margin of the approximately 30 pages admit a small discolored area; else, minor foxing to paper. It is difficult to ascertain the cause of this discoloration, though it doesn't appear to be staining or typical foxing. Various leaves admit to minor creases and small bumps. Text clean. Binding sound. Overall, remains a good, sound, and largely well preserved copy of this very scarce title.  Seller Inventory # 039731
