ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage atomic era biomorphic floor standing ashtray designed by Arno Scheiding. Circa '50s.  Consists of a biomorphic-shaped gray ceramic insert the rests nestled within a brass metal tripod stand.  The stand has a handle at the top, which also doubles for where one would rest a cigarette between the metal coil that wraps around the handle (see photos). The tripod stands still retains all of its black rubberized tips on the ends of the feet, as well as at the end of the handle at the top. The gray ceramic insert is inscribed with the artist's name, as well as the alpha-numeric sequence T-769 (again, see photos). It's a great piece for that smoker in your life! MEASUREMENTS: Including the metal tripod stand, the item measures approx. 25" tall (measured from the floor to the top of the carrying handle) x 14" wide (distance between feet) x 14" deep (distance between feet).  The ceramic ashtray insert measures approx. 3.5" tall x 7.5" wide x 8" deep.
