Large Albumen Print of the photographer, Herbert C Anderson of Richmond Maine. Anderson was active in the mid 1890s. This large self portrait came from famed and well respected image dealer, Greg French. I purchased it in 2008 I believe. If I recall, Greg purchased a large cache of items related to Anderson including a companion image to this one that was sold to Matt Isenburg - see pic. The image is 10.5" x 14" mounted on a board that is 14"x17". The image itself is in very nice condition - the board has some staining and wear. The reverse is stamped Herbert Anderson Photographer Richmond Maine.

As you know, large images like this are uncommon...but large images of a photographer are RARE. I bought a mat to lay on top of the image - that will be included if you like.
