CHARMING set of FOUR (4) dessert plates or luncheon plates made for Williams-Sonoma in China.  These quality plates are made of porcelain / ceramic.  They feature a NORDIC ELF carrying a lantern and skiing on forks in a heavy snowstorm.  The four scenes tell a story of the gnome who skis in, rolls up the snow into a snowman, puts a copper pot on its head for a hat, and uses a Williams-Sonoma tea towel for the scarf.  Super-cute!

They are made with a glossy white glaze and edged in red.  The snow fall seems to sort of hover over the background in a slight 3D effect.  Each plate is a little over 7 inches in diameter, stands on a circular base of 4 inches, and stands a little over 1 inch above the tabletop.  Altogether they weigh 3 lb 6.25 oz.  

They are in EXCELLENT preowned / used condition with very few signs of use.  No chips, no cracks, and no repairs.  Perfect for your Christmas or Winter Holiday table!  From 2008.
