I am selling a gorgeous Spode place setting!
The pattern is Irene, which was made from the 1950s to the 1970s. Irene features a lush floral pattern of pink and yellow flowers on a scalloped body, the edges are trimmed in pearlized gold. The place setting includes one each of the following:
10 1/2" dinner plate
8” salad plate
6 3/8” bread plate
cup & saucer
All the pieces are marked
“Spode
BONE CHINA
ENGLAND
SPODE’S IRENE”,
and includes a hand painted mark
“Y/6490”.
Due to the slight variances in the hand painted numbers, I’ve included a photo of each mark.
Condition is fantastic! There are occasional utensil scuffs on the surface of the flat pieces, but condition is remarkably clean. No other sign of use or wear, and no damage at all.
