Here we have a vintage 1960s Bush Portable Radio model TR90C.
In a used, very Good Working Order I believe that the optional ariel socket on the base was to facilitate use within a car.
The battery terminals have been adapted so that a modern smaller 9 volt battery may be fitted (not included).
I fondly remember this radio being sat on the window sill at my grandmother's house and listening to the various programmes of yesteryear.
