Information:
The
T-Shirt has been in my posession since the 1990s and was given to me by
staff at LWT/Shepperton Studios, UK while I was there assisting an
ex-work colleague of mine at the time who featured in the You Bet TV
show doing a challenge on video game audio. Check out the photo I've
added of him wearing a green/jaded version of the same item.
This
T-Shirt can still be worn or just kept for collectible, nostalgic or
value purposes. This is a genuine, official and very limited item and
certainly not something you can pick up in the high street or even in
this day and age.

The
ITV game show You Bet! was indeed recorded at Shepperton Studios for
much of its run . However, unlike some cult shows, it didn’t generate a
big official merchandise ecosystem, and studio-issued clothing was
typically crew swag or limited-run promo gear, not widely retailed
collectibles.
What they tend to be worth (2020s market)
Based on how similar UK TV memorabilia performs:
Generic or unofficial “You Bet!” logo tees (modern reprints):
~£10–£25 (basically novelty print-on-demand shirts)
Vintage 1990s-era tees (no proof of studio link):
~£20–£60 depends on condition, graphic quality, and whether it looks period-authentic
Genuine studio-issued / crew shirts from Shepperton:
~£50–£120 typical range can push higher if provenance is solid (e.g. paperwork, identifiable crew link)
Exceptional cases (rare):
£150+ only if: clearly production-used, tied to a known person/episode or unusually desirable design
Condition:
This
T-Shirt has been worn over the years so it is in a used condition. Upon
inspection of the item I can only see one actual hole on the rear, at
the bottom. The You Bet logo is still visible but the white colour has
distressed and faded over time and is only partially visible. Although
the item has been washed many times it does still carry some visible
marks mainly on the front middle to bottom area. There is a possibility
that these marks could still come out on a boil wash or if treated. I
can't be sure.
