Skeeter Werner Walker (December 22, 1933 – July 20, 2001), born Gladys Maxine Werner, was an American alpine ski racer and Olympian. She was the oldest of the famous Werner family, which included her Olympian brothers Buddy and Loris Werner.
Here are some of Skeeter Werner Walker's career highlights and achievements:
- Junior and National Competitions: Won titles at the Junior Nationals circuit in 1950 and 1951, and the West of the Mississippi Championships in 1949.
- U.S. Ski Team and World Championships: Was the youngest member of the U.S. FIS Team in 1953 and the U.S. Ski Team at the 1954 World Championships, where she finished 10th in downhill.
- North American Champion: Became North American Champion in 1955.
