This is a pair of sterling silver tongs in the sought after Gorham Fontainebleau pattern, circa 1880. They measure 4" long. No mono.

They feature unusual nips that are spoon shaped. They are marked Copyrighted, Gorham trademark( lion anchor G) and sterling. The motif is a male figure holding a long handled spoon stirring in a large pot. The detail is crisp. Nice addition to any collection.
