This is Intel Optane Persistent Memory (PMem), not standard DDR4 RAM. 

It uses DDR‑T signaling and only works in Intel Xeon Scalable servers 

(Cascade Lake generation) with BIOS support for Optane PMem.

- HPE ProLiant DL360 / DL380 Gen10

- Lenovo ThinkSystem SR630 / SR650

- Requires DRAM pairing and PMem-enabled BIOS

Use Cases:

- VMware / Proxmox virtualization hosts (Memory Mode)

- Database acceleration (SQL Server, Redis, SAP HANA)

- High‑performance caching layers

- Large in‑memory workloads

- App Direct persistent memory applications
