This is a rare and an original vintage exhibition art poster "Le Cirque" (Circus) by French artist Nathalie CHABRIER, produced for an exhibition held at Galerie BARBIZON in Paris from June 12 to July 12, 1986. The design features an elegant and expressive illustration of circus performer Martine GRUSS standing atop a group of horses, rendered in a dynamic and sketch-like style typical of modern French figurative drawing. Nathalie CHABRIER (1932) is a French painter, lithographer and illustrator born in Paris. Particularly fascinated by the world of the circus from the 1960s onward, she produced numerous works inspired by circus performers and equestrian acts.

Condition of the poster: The poster is in good condition for its age. Colors are fresh. There are very tiny pinholes on each four corners. The poster has always been stored flat.
