Introduced for 1962 and produced through 1970, Buicks Wildcat exemplified full-size performance, Buick style with plenty of class, luxury, and the power to humble many more overt performance cars with ease. While the 1962 Wildcat was a subseries of the Invicta Sport Coupe, the Wildcat was a unique Buick series from 1963 to 1970. While aimed at the performance-minded owner/driver, the Wildcat would include four body styles from 1963 through 1970, including 2- and 4-door sedan, and glamorous convertible. Chiseled bodylines, luxurious interiors, and restrained bright trim suggestive of power and speed defined Wildcats throughout their run, backed up by a succession of large-displacement Buick engines. By 1967, Buick unveiled new engines offering the same or greater power and easier maintenance than the prior Nailhead designs. For its part, the Wildcat was powered in 1967 by a 430 cubic-inch powerplant belting out 360 factory-rated horsepower on tap.

Positioned above the LeSabre lineup, the Wildcat series was quite popular and catered to Buicks faithful buyers and provided a family-friendly alternative to other flashier high-performance cars. This meticulously maintained 1967 Buick Wildcat convertible is an exceptionally fine exemplar of the Wildcat concept and it is quite rare as one of just 2,276 produced. Just 69,750 miles are indicated and this Wildcat certainly looks it, with such great preservation suggesting attentive and careful ownership and storage throughout its lifetime. The Artic White paint finish is original and looks great, complemented by red interior upholstery, a black power convertible top, blacked-out Wildcat grille, and handsome Buick road wheels. Factory options are abundant, including power brakes and steering, a power-adjustable front seat, tilt steering wheel, power windows, an AM pushbutton radio, and power antenna. A full-size spare wheel/tire resides inside the Wildcats trunk. A recent service and detailing makes this rare and outstandingly preserved 1967 Buick Wildcat convertible ready for cruising and touring enjoyment along your favorite stretch of open road. Bidders with less than 5 feedbacks must contact us prior to bidding. If you do not contact us, we reserve the right to cancel your bid without notice. Please do not ask our reserve price, simply bid what you are comfortable with.

Your winning bid is a contract to purchase the vehicle, not a "come, look, and negotiate." This is a serious auction for serious buyers only. Please ask all relevant questions prior to bidding. All vehicles are sold as-is. By placing a bid, you are agreeing to these terms of sale.

Winning bidder must communicate with Seller by phone within 24 hours of the end of auction to make arrangements to complete transaction. If no contact is made, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise.

As-Is:

The Last Detail has described the above-mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability, however, as with all pre-owned automobiles, the condition is subjective, and recommend that the buyer inspect and test drive the vehicle before finalizing their purchase. The Last Detail shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with the vehicle at the buyer’s request prior to close of sale. No allowances or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale. Any and all differences must be addressed prior to the time of sale. The Last Detail assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. Despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or a previous owner’s diligence in care of said vehicle. There are no mechanical guarantees, expressed or implied. We will not be responsible for buyer’s remorse or issues to said vehicle once it has left our premises. We are being realistic; most of the cars we sell are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. Therefore, all vehicles are sold “AS IS”. However, extended warranty options are available on most vehicles. Please inquire if you are interested.

Mileage:

Vintage cars in excess of 10 years of age, in most US states, mileage may be recorded as “exempt”. The Last Detail makes no warranties as to the accuracy of the mileage indicated or shown and accepts no responsibility for any discrepancy with independent reports such as CarFax, Autocheck, etc. Unless the vehicle is advertised as an original mileage car, do not assume that the mileage/odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time pictures are taken. MILEAGE IS NOT ACTUAL UNLESS STATED SO IN THE DESCRIPTION! Vehicles are test driven and mileage may vary at time of sale.
