This is a handpainted foredge painting I made using ink gouache and watercolour, including metallic watercolour to give this an added sparkle! I really loved this book and was caught off guard by the twist and will be looking forward to reading the next installment. This is a pre - owned book and has slight wear -(bending to the spine from reading). Due to the nature of the metallic watercolour embellishments this book would be better for display over reading to preserve the metallic watercolours. Flicking, fanning of pages can cause this to flake off. This would make a thoughtful and unique gift for those you know who loved diving into this world or as a special treat for yourself to adorn your bookshelf.
