Description
Antique pince-nez style eyeglasses with original metal storage case.
This early eyeglass style was worn by pinching onto the bridge of the nose rather than using traditional arms. Popular during the late Victorian and early 1900s period.
The frames appear to be brass, though they are unmarked so exact metal composition is not guaranteed.
Includes the original storage case, which shows significant age, oxidation, and surface corrosion consistent with long-term storage.
Condition notes:
• glasses show age and wear
• lenses have scratches and dirt
• metal components show patina and oxidation
• case is heavily worn but structurally intact
• hinge and nose mechanism still present
Due to age and unknown functionality, this set is being sold AS IS for display, collection, or restoration.
