Antique S.H. Couch Autophone Candlestick Telephone w/ Ringer Box Intercom Style

Pre-owned antique telephone set showing heavy cosmetic wear throughout. Paint is heavily worn on the base, and metal surfaces have oxidation, corrosion, and plating loss; mouthpiece edge is chipped. Ringer box bells are tarnished, cloth-covered cords are frayed and brittle, underside shows rust and verdigris; untested and offered as non-working for parts, restoration, or display.

S.H. Couch Co. “Autophone” candlestick telephone, a classic example of early 20th-century communication technology. Manufactured by the S.H. Couch Company, this style of telephone predates modern handsets and was commonly used in homes, offices, and independent telephone systems.
