Vintage Stetson Twenty Five "Open Road" style Western Fedora
Color: Silverbelly
Size: 7 1/4 (58)
5 1/2 Inch Open Crown
2 3/4 inch Bound Edge Brim
Vintage: 1950s - 1960s?

This rare and gorgeous "Twenty Five" quality western Fedora from Stetson does not have a model name logo on sweatband or liner, but the style is basically identical to the "Open Road" or "Stratoliner" with a 5 1/2 inch open crown and 2 3/4 inch bound edge brim

This Vintage Stetson Twenty Five is far superior to any modern hat, easy to hand shape with cattleman or teardrop crease as desired, this vintage fur felt that molds by hand and holds its shape with no steam required, made with materials and workmanship from a bygone era, they really do not make them like this anymore...

Specific decade of manufacture is tricky to determine as this hat lacks size tag and manufacture label, 1950s - 1960s is best guess

Minor Flaws: the sweatband is split at the rear seam but it is otherwise in good condition and wears well, there are 2 tiny greenish spots on the brim's underside at rear of hat, and there is also a patina (discoloration) along the brim's bound edge and ribbon around crown, but imo this patina is aesthetically appealing and adds character to this vintage hat

Excellent Vintage Condition with minor flaws as noted, there is also some lingering vintage dust and this hat would benefit from a good brushing and steaming, see photos for details
