Here
are two great items from
Ireland that I received in
a subscription box called
"My Ireland Box."
The
first is handmade and from
County Kildare. The
company is called Coolree
Design (Simple Beauty) and
has the words "Tigin na mblath" (Little House of Flowers) etched on the front, along with a three-leaf clover. It has a
small tube that slides
into the top slot and holds whatever bud or arrangement you insert.
It
measures 4.75" in height,
5" wide, and just under 1"
wide. It has the original
box, tube, and information
tag as well as the vase
itself. It is made of
wood, but it does not specify what kind.
The information tag has an
enchanting story about
fairies and flowers on one
side. The perfect gift for
St. Patrick's Day or that
special Irish person in
your life!
The
second is a beautiful
cappuccino cup-and-saucer
set from West Cork,
Ireland. It is made by
Annabelle Langrish. This
is such a lovely set in
blues and purples with a
variety of different
wildflowers depicted.
There is a butterfly
imprinted on the inside of
the cup as well.
Obviously, this could also
be used as a teacup set,
if you so desired. It is hand-painted, dishwasher-proof fine china. I think
you will find it a very
soothing cup for enjoying your hot beverage of choice.
IMPORTANT:
There is a matching saucer
in the box. It is
underneath the cardboard
that supports the
cappuccino cup, wrapped up there.
Pulling it out might damage the packaging, and I didn't want to risk that if you are considering this
as a gift.
Condition:
The vase is new in the
original box with tag and
tube. The cappuccino cup and saucer set is also new. The saucer is under
the cup and well wrapped.
There are more photos in
the photo gallery that you can zoom in on and examine closely.
